INTERNATIONAL FRAUD.
FALSIFIED BONDS PLOT DISCOVERED. (BY CABLB—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.!i. CABLB ASSOCIATION.) PARIS, November 8. "Le Matin" publishes a story of an extensive fraud whereby hundreds of Hungarian pre-war bonds were falsified by means of acid and then newly stamped so as to be convertible in France into gold. The plot was detected when bonds were presented at a bank, and the result was the arrest of a Czecho-slovak-ian banker, John Blumenstein, and a Rumanian broker, Stefan Toubini.
