CHRISTCHURCH CLUB.
The Christchurch Homing Pigeon Society flew its firjt Seacliff race recently. Sixtynine birds, the property of 16 owner!, were liberated by the statiomnaster at 10 a.m. in a nor 1 -east wind, which prevented them from recording fast velocities. The wmuing bird No. 818. the property of J. Baxter, flew the distance of 185 miles airline in 6hrs oilmm. Results:— t„.j. „„„ yards per minute. J. Baxter's No. 818 .. •• "5 J.
