GOLF.
CIIRISTCHURCH V. REST OF NORTH CANTERBURY. A representative match, perhaps unique in the history o£ golf in New Zealand, is to be played at Shirley on November 20th between teams of twenty a-side, representing -the Christchurcli Club and the other clubs in North Canterbury. The Christchurch Club is reported to have the strongest, club side in New Zealand, but the team selected to represent the rest of North Canterbury is, on paper, ut any rate, a very formidable combination. The match will commence at 10.30 a.m., and members of tho Rest of North Canterbury team nro requested to be at Shirley not later than 10 a.m. Tho following is the team which has beeo chosen to represent the Rest of North Canterbury : Hep.
