Waikawa —Loads at Vancouver and San Francisco during February for Auckland, AVellington, Melbourne, and Sydney.
REMUERA IN PORT. The Remuera arrived at Lyttelton yesterday morning from London, via Wellington. Adverse weather conditions were experienced throughout the voyage, only very brief spells of favourable weather beine encountered. After loading at London the Remuera sailed from Southampton on September 30th, and very heavy weather was experienced, for the first few days out. She arrived at Colon on October 14th, and passed through the canal the next day. The Remuera sailed from Colon on October 18th, and arrived at Pitcairn Island on October 27th, where a short stay was made. A very heavy swell was encountered on the last stage of the journey to Wellington, but the whole voyago was without incident. The Remuera brought 98 passengers for tho South Island, 56 being third-class, and the remainder first and second. Captain J. J. Cameron is in command of tho Remuera, and the following are the officers: Chief, Mr C. R. Pilcher; second, Mr D. Hughes; third, Mr H. R. M. Smith; chief engineer Mr W. R. Snedden; second, Mr A. Percival; third, Mr A. C. M. Chapman; fourth, Mr A. A. Christian; purser, Mr P. S. Brown; surgeon, Dr. F. W. Page; wireless operator, Mr C. Terry.
