Three first ofTenders for drunkenness, one of them a woman, were each fined 10>, in default 24- hours' imprisonment. Mr Batchclor said the man was an industrious fellow, living at-Oamarn, but occasionally had too much liquor when he came to Christchurch. Aroused was sentenced to three months' imprisonment with hard labour.
