CHILDREN INJURED.
(press association telegram.) THAMES, November 7. There was a sequel to the Guy Fawkes celebrations yesterday when eight children at Kirikiri, close to Thames, procured some gunpowder. They made a small heap to which a match was applied. The resulting explosion burned all their faces, and three were taken to hospital in a serious condition.
