STRAND THEATRE.
SATURDAY'S PROGRAMME. Many hearty laughs, an hour or more of highly enjoyable entertainment, and not a few thrills, constituted the offering of the Strand Theatre on Saturday, where "Taxi! Taxi!" the Universal-Jewel, featuring Edward Everett Horton, was the mam attraction. The picture is pure farce, and pretends to be nothing else, but it is farce excellently done, with many new situations, and staged in a rapid tempo that permits of no dull moments. "Titne, the • Comedian," starring Lew Cody and May. Busch, which was shown in support, is an'" engrossing and satirical film upon Life, and the restlessness that has .characterised women since the early years of this century, "The Return of the Riddle Eider," a.comedy, aaid a Jfews -were also presented. . \
