RUN OVER BY CAR.
(press association teleqbah.) WHAKATAKE, October 14. A middle-aged man. Stanley Forbes, a resident of Otakiri, was tud over by a motor-car last evening at Otakiri, receiving severe injuries to the chest and head. Forbes was walking along a road, when a car came out from the Tarawera Dairy Factory. For some time he was pinned under the car. When extricated he was brought to the "Whakatane Hospital, where he lies in a serious condition.
