NEW BRIGHTON BRIDGE.
MAY GO TO PRIVY COUNCIL. The necessary formalities have been complied with in connexion with tbe appeal of Mr R. B. Owen against the New Brighton Borough Council regarding the New Brighton bridge, and securities have been deposited with the" Registrar of the Court'of Appeal, Wellington. In the event of the conference arranged by the Minister for Marine, which will be ield at New Brighton on Monday, proving unsatisfactory, tbe appeal "will go before the Privy Council, Mr Owen informed a Pkess reporter yesterday.
