ST. ANDREW'S COLLEGE. ANNUAL COMPETITIONS. • At St. Andrew's College on Saturday night, on the'occasion of the College .boxing championships,' a good all-round exhibition of the game was seen. The fighting in'all'bouts ■was good. . Following wore the results:— PAPER-WEIGHT.' (Under est); In the first fight of the evening, I." Bv McNair (sst ; 121b) beat V. C. Lewis (ast 31b). Lewis opened well, but McNair proved much stronger,'and won easily. ■■'- V. P. .Williamson-{sst 111b) beat A. BlaMy (sst 31b). Blakely did not look like winning at any stage of the fight, Williamson taking advantage of his weight and reach, and punishing his smaller oppoueht heavily. Final—McNair beat Williamson. McNair,' though suffering from a sprained -thumb, won handsomely. FLY-WEIGHT (Under. 6'st, 101b).

. 11. Knsor (6st 10.1b) beat V. It. Wright (6st Gib) in two fast, clean rounds. Wright used a straight lcfl, and .had Ensor very shaky at the end o£ the first round. In the second, Wright had it all his own way, and Won a fairly easy figst. F Svmes (6st 51£) went down to. V. J. Edmonds (6st alb). Symes rushed continually, but Edmonds stopped him each time with a left. The second round >vaa faster. Edmonds, won easily. - D. A'Court (6st 9lb) lost to V.D.. Cropp (Cst 81b) after two fine rounds, in which the lads ..worked freely and cleanly. It was a fairly even bout. Semi-finals—l. B. McXair (3st 121b) met V. R. Wright (fist 61b), and J. Edmonds (6st 21b) heat V. D. Cropp in two interesting bouts. Wright beat McNair, who fought a bye, as he had entered in the former weight, and Edmonds beat Cropp. Final—ln the first round of the final the fißht was stopped by the referee, and awarded to Wright, who was punishing Edmonds severely. •LIGHT-WEIGHT t Under 3st 10lb).

- A. Shand- (9st 61b) defeated J. Sutherland (9st 61b). Sutherland fought pluckily,' receiving a lot of punishment. M. Coop (9st 'Jib) v. It. Nicholson (9st 41b) provided a surprise, in that Nicholson proved too good for Coop, who suffered from an injured shoulder. Final—Shand had an easy win over Nicholson, who was badly punished. Shand. won the inter-schools championship for this weight last year. ' MIDDLE-WEIGHT I'J.vJer lOst 10lb). Opening with a rough-and-tumble of infighting, P. Knsor (lOst lib) and V. T. Thompson provided a. good bout. Thompson swung wildly, and appeared to be seeking a knock-out. Knsor warded off his opponent with well-timed lefts, and won by a narrow margin of ppintsl L. Lilley (lOst.) and V. C. Wilson (lOst lib) fought an interesting bout with plenty of speed. The first round was even, but Lillev showed better form in the second round. It was a.popular win for Lilley. Final—This was a disappointing bout, Lilley and Ensor both appearing to avoid coming to close range. The first round was very slow and uninteresting. The second round was a little faster, and Lilley scored at in-fighting. Kound three was fast, and Ensor started to box well. Lilley scored at long range, however, and won fairly easily. „ BANTAM-WEIGHT (Under 7st 101b). There were only two entrants in this class, and each proved to be a promising lad. D. McNair, scaling 7st 10lb, defeated easily V. P. McMillan, Bst 101b. This was a great surprise, for McNair was giving away a stone. McNair's fast left stood him in good stead, and he won well on points. HEAVY-WEIGHT (College Championship). By far the best fcght of the evening, the College championship, for which J. Little <lostl2lb) and V. M. Wybert (lOst 121b) were the only entrants, was fast throughout the three rounds. Wybert boxed prettily for the first round, but Littlo used both hands to good effect, and in the two remaining rounds showed superior skill and condition, and punished his opponent severely. Little's win. was popular, and, as the college" champion, he was cheered by the school.

At the Stadium, Johnny knocked out Stan Craig in the first round with a'heavyleft to the. body and a right to' the jaw. He quite outclassed Craig.
