COSTLY REPAIRS TO DREDGE.
(«tZ33 ASSOCIATION TZLZOBAM.) GISBORNE, September 24. The dredge Maui, which was recently overhauled at Auckland, and is now hired to the Marine Department for work at Westport, cost many thousands ot pounds to repair. The sum of £SOOO was mentioned at the last Board meeting, but the latest reports indicate that the actual cost is nearly double that figure.
