Special prayers for the use of the Navy were introduced into the Prayer Book in 1661, but there have never been any special prayers in the Prayer Book for use at Army services. A nightmare, caused by witnessing a startling film, gave a Sussex man such a shock that he recovered. his voice, lost after being gassed at Passchendaele ten years ago.
