STRAND THEATRE.
TWO BIG FEATURES. Commencing to-day at the Strand Theatre two big features will be screened—"Lights of Old Broadway" and "The righting Peacemaker." The former stars Marion Davies. It begins •with the death of an immigrant on a ship en route from Ireland to America, when twin baby girls were left alone in the world, goes through the romantic and adventurous course of the children's lives to womanhood, and ends with a strong and quite unexpected climax. "The righting Peacemaker" stars Jack Hoxic. and deals with a cowboy who returns from his home after serving a prison sentence for a crime he did not commit. A girl enters the story, and after a series of misunderstandings the cowbov finds that, after all, the lady is true to him There is a fight between sheep- and cattlemen, preceded by daring horsemanship and many strenuous battles. "The Return of the Kiddle Hider," a Bcenic, a comedv, and a news item complete the bill.
