VIVISECTION.
TO THE EDITOB OF THE FBESS. Sir, —The letter of "H.T.W." in Thursday's Press does not make very good reading. I had no idea that we New Zealanders countenanced vivisection in our midst. If medical science is unable to" advance in any other way but bv torturing dumb animals, let us die gamely by the disease which has got us, rather'than cause suffering to an innocent, helpless creature. Hoping to hear that the S.B'.C.A. or some influential body has taken action. —Yours, etc., F. JONES. Sumner, September «23rd. 1 .
