SYDNEY, September 21. : ThO serious position of a large nuinler of small graziers in the northern Biverina district was set out by a deputation which waited on tho UnderSwietary of Agriculture to discuss ®eans for tho relief of settlers • affected f>y the drought. The affected area is over 4000 square biles. Settlers in these districts have been water for eighteen months. Fod®sr Was practically exhausted, and •tock is dying off fast. Farmers have >ll they can do to keep their horses so that they can carry out next ttajon's seeding. Many storekeepers *»ve had to close down.
