When a new concrete water tower, 120 ft high, built at Skegness, was tilled with 200,000 gallons of water recently, it was found that the tower was 20in out of the vertical. When the water was emptied the tower resumed its vertical position. It takes five bushels of grain—the yield of a quarter of an. acre—to make one sack of flour.
