WELLINGTON, September 21. The Legislative Council to-day decided to insist on its amendments in the "War Disabilities Amendment Bill, and set uy a sub-committee to prepare reasons for so doing. After a brief discussion in Committee on the Marriage Amendment Bill, progress was reported, on the motion of the Leader of the Council, Sir Francis BellThe Summer Time Bill was read a / second time on the voices. ~. \TJie Council passed a .similar motion to' that carried by the House inyegard to. the sending forward the evidence of the Samoa Select Committee to the .Rmoa Commission. The Council rose at 3.42.p.m.
