CONFERENCE AT ROTORUA
(press association telegram.) ROTORUA,. September 20. The Motor Trades and; Wholesale Traders' Association's tenth annual convention was opened this, morning under the presidency of Mr E." Reynolds (Wellington).■ The Mayor, Mi' T. McDonnell, welcomed the visitors, and appealed to the delegates sympathetically to consider road -questions affecting the district. After a brief session the delegates went .on a, sight-seeing tour. During the afternoon session the following officers were elected: —President, Mr J. H. Ashton (New Plymouth); treasurer, Mr J. F. Cousins; auditor, Mr E. A. Fuller, F.P.A. (Palmerston North); councillors, Messrs R. Wright (Nelson), A. D. Wallace (Thames Valley), John Black' (Otago), G. y. Spragg (Aucklaud), H. A. Anderson (Northern Hawke's Bay), H. Holmes (Gisborne), G. W. Wood ... (Sojith Canterbury), G. Huglian (Wairarapa),. F. Flavell (Wanganui)," Hola (Te Kuiti), ■ G.; F.ench (Christcluirch),. C. H„ Erson (South Auckland), J. N. Armour (Southland), 11. M. Fergusson (North Taranaki), C. 0. Stunners (South Taranaki), D. 11. Edgar (Wellington), and P. Reynolds (Wh'angarei).
