This is to introduce to you "The Smallholder," a new monthly journal that it is anticipated will very shortly be -welcomed in thousands of New Zealand homes. The title is almost selfexplanatory of the journal. It is .first and foremost out to assist tlie man who cultivates an area from half an acre to twenty-five acres, whether entirely for pleasure. or solely for profit. Flowers, fruit, vegetables, bees, poultry, pigs, and the dairy cow are included in its field, and all are dealt with by experts. You cannot afford to be without its advice. Also, the paper gives you £IOOO free accident cover "for both husband and wife. Buy a copy and you will become an annual .subscriber at the low cost of 10s.
