DEMPSEY-TUNNEY FIGHT.

(Received September 13th, 8.15 p.m.) NEW YOKE, September IS. ' A message from Chicago says that two interesting reports were current to-day relative to the championship fight, namely, that Tunney will receive the fat sum of 1,000,000 dollars and Dempsey 425,000, and that Dempsey is engaging in secret boxing sessions. Another story that Tunney had accepted a bribe of 1,000,000 dollars from New York gamblers to let Dempsey win, gained currency over the weekend but is vehemently denied b;' the champion. Tunney enjoyed a complete rest today save for a round of golf. He had planned a little ring work but the intense heat here caused a change or plans. _ -I* Dempsey also did no boxing, but engaged in work with the punching bag. It is understood that he will continue secret boxing sessions until nest Sunday.
