WAINGAWA FREEZING WORKS.
BANK TO OPERATE THEM ? (rRBSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) MASTERTON, September 12. It was reported here to-day that the Bank of New Zealand proposed to open the Waingawa freezing works this season. The Wairarapa Frozen Meat Company, which recently decided not to renew the lease of works from the bank, but to operate in conjunction with the Wellington Meat Export Company at Ngahauranga, vacates the Works at the end of September, and it is understood that the bank proposes to operate them under its own management.
