ANNUAL SHOW. RECORD ENTRIES. With a record entry in all sections, the Christchurch Toy Dog and Cat Club yesterday held its fifth annual show in the Sydentan Football Club Hall. Evidence of he nonulaity of the show was evinced by the number of entries, which totalled considerS over seven hundred. SPECIAL AWARDS. In the Irish Terrier class, special awards wove made to Mr G. Bundy, owner of Bed Prince and Just It. Special awards were made, in the Fox Terrier class, to Mr. G. H. Shaw, owner of Winton Ranger, Mr W. M. Jacks, owner of Whiz Bang, and to Mr J. S. Durie, owner of Oxen Meteor. Mr T. H. Owen ■ was given the special awards in the Whippet class. His dog, Corned; Lass, was far superior to the other dogs. Mrs Wedd's Pug, Prince Mitty, was awarded a special in the Pugs' class. In the Australian Terriers' class, Mr J. Marshall's Bebe Blue and Miss E. W. Coleman's Brooks were awarded specials. Mr J. Marshall's three doge, Zaney Grey, Donnybrook, and Flossie M. were awarded special prizes. In the Pomeranians' class, awards were made to Mr A. H. Ennis's Timaru Scot, S. A. MacDougall's- Kutland Pat, A. H. Ennis's Timaru Popsy, and Mrs G. F. Robinson's Penrley Honeydew. Mr Ennis's Timaru Popsy and Mr S. A. MacDougall's Rutland Pat won special awards in tho any variety Toy class.

Mr J. S. Durie's Qxjm Meteor won a special in the variety Terriers' class. Mr W. M. Jack's Dusky Gyp, Whiz Bang, and Glenmore Makeway were the winners of the special award in the brace and team section.

The Toy cup and gold medal were won by A. H. Ennis's Timaru Popsy. Mi W. M.' Jack's Whiz Bang won the rerrier cup. The bine riband was won by Mr A. H. Ennia's Timaru Popsy.
