Merthyr has 834 houses in such a condition that rebuilding is _ the only cure. There. are altogether in use in the town, 1247 dwellings which the medical authorities describe as being in.need. of repair. Tall men have combined in °°® Kansas town to protest against note! beds being too short, chairs and tables too low, and motor-cars-: too cramped.
