QUEEN'S THEATRE.

Romance in the golden West is featured in "Hard Boiled," which heads the bill at the Queen's Theatre. In this picture Mix finds upon leaving his home in Chicago that crooks are crooks no matter where they are encountered. In this case the ruffians are New York gunmen who are bent upon mischief in the West. In the course of the action Tom encountered them planning a haul, which if successful, would place them in possession of some of the most desirable jewels in the safe at the famous Boiling Springs. Just how Tom and his great horse Tony, assisted by Marjorie Gregg (Helene Chadwick), engineer a startling rescue, and land the culprits in the hands of the law, makes a thrilling and dramatic scene. The second feature is a Paramount picture, "The Lucky Devil, *'' starring Richard Dix. This is one of the best pictures the popular star has ever appeared in, and stageß one of the greatest automobile races ever imagined. At the Strand There "Seven Chances," featuring the well-known LOCAL TALENT NOVEL COMPETITION, To-morrow night promises to be another big event, when the Queen's Theatre will hold a further competition. Patrons are assured of an excellent evening's enjoyment. Seats may be reserved at Webley's, or 'Phone 3342.
