GROWTH OP THE MOVEMENT.
The Eev. P. H. G. Leonard, chaplain, of the Toe H. movement in Manchester, addressed a large number of schoolboys and studentß on the movement last night. The Mayor (Mr J. K. Archer) presided. The speaker traced the growth of Toe H. from its commencement under the direction of "Tubby" Clayton, in a village behind the Tpres salient. He ! spoke of its benefit to the men, not only [physically tired, but mentally and 'spiritually also. Tpc H. stood for a way of life, but it began as a way of "death, cheering men who would never return.- h .. ■••. ■■;*•■' "•:■•• : - ■* < ' Mr„ Leonard illustrated his lecture with lantern slides, showing stages in Toe H. development from its war-time inception to the great annual birthdays celebrated in the Albert Hall.
