COLD ANDDRY 4 (BY CABLE—rHBSS ASSOCIATION—COPIBIGHT). (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) SYDNEY, July 26. Australia generally has been experiencing an exceptional run of cold weather. For the past couple of weeks the thermometer has consistently recorded low registers with recurrent snowfalls on the mountains and some inland districts. To date,' July has been the driest for 21 years; the eeneralaverage for July is 497 points, whereas only 21 points have fallen this The'weather in the Tasman Sea is wmnrted to be black and stormy, causing delay in the arrival of vessels from Auckland.
