' DECREASE IN AUSTRALIA. (BI CABLE—PKES3 ASSOCIATION— COPXBIGHT.) (AUSTBALIAH AND *-Z- CABL » ASSOCIATION.) MELBOURNE, April 29. A decrease in the basic wage under the Commonwealth Arbitration Court awards comes into operation, excepting Perth and Adelaide, on May Ist. In Melbourne and Sydney the. reduction will be Is weekly, in Brisbane 2s 6d, and in Hobart 6d. In Adelaide, there will be an increase of Is 6d. .„ - „«.■ In Perth, the wage will remain as at present. ______
