RACES AT CHRISTCHURCH, APRIL 18 AND 19. SPORTS AT SEFTON AND WAIKARI, APRIL 18. EXCURSION TO STEWART'S GULLY, APRIL 18. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. EXTRA EXPRESS TRAINS. On 14th, loth, and 19th April Relief Express Trains, stopping only at certain stations, will leave Christchurch for Dunedin at 9.10 a.m. and Dunedin for Christchurch at 9.5 sum. On 14th April the Relief Express from Christchurch will connect at Dunedin with a Relief Express for Invercargill. The 9.5 sum. train from Dunedin will not connect with Southbridge and Little River Branches (except on 19th April). Will not connect at Rolleston with Midland Line and Whitecliffs Branch (except on 19th April). Will not connect with North line stations, except that on 14th it will connect (by train leaving Christchurch for Rangiora at 11.0 p.m.) to stations Riccarton to Rangiora. SPECIAL NIGHT TRAINS. On 14th and 18th April night trains* (stopping only at certain stations) will leave Christchurch for Dunedin at 10.25 p.m., and Dunedin for Christchurch at 10.20 p.m. CHRISTCHURCH GREYMOUTH MAIL TRAINS. From 14th to 23rd April the 9.45 am. Christchurch-Greymouth and 10.35 a.m. Greymouth-Christchurch mail trains will run daily (Sunday excepted). Usual*stops will be observed. Connexions to and from Hokitika, Reefton, and Blackball will be made daily except that on 15th April there will be no trains between Blackball and Ngahere. On Monday, 18th April, the 8.20 a.m. Christchurch-Greymouth, and 7.40 a-m. Greymouth-Christchurch trains will not run between Christchurch and Otira. TRAIN ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS. THURSDAY, APRIL 14. LYTTELTON LlKE.—Special train, stopping where required for passengers, will leave Christchurch for Lyttelton at 11.30 p.HL, and will return, leaving Lyttelton at 11.55 p.m. for Christchurch. NORTH LlNE.—Special train, stopping where required for. passengers, leaves Christchurch at 11.0 p.m. for Rangiora and returns to Christchurch leaving Rangiora 12.10 a.m. next day. FRIDAY, APRIL 15. \ .. All trains will be cancelled with the following exceptions:— LYTTELTON LINE.—From Christchurch 6.38 a.m., 7.55, 8.55, 10.5, 11.5. aon., 12.10 p.m., 1.30, 2.45, 4.5, 5.15, 5.45, 6.50 (steamer train), 6.55, 7.30 (express), 7.50, and 9.15 p.m. From Lyttelton 7.25 sl.hl, 8.20, 9.20, 10.32, 11.32 a.m., 12.55 p.m., 1.55, 3.20, 4.38, 5.10, 6.20, 7.20, 8.17, 8.32, and 9.45 p.m. Usual ferry train to Christchurch (after arrival of ferry steamer at Lyttelton) will run. Excursionists for Otira will travel froni Lyttelton line stations by train leaving Lyttelton at 7.25 a.m. NORTH LlNE.—Usual 7.55 a.m. Christchurch-Parnassus, 2.0 p.m. Parnassus-Christchurch, 8.55 a.m. Christchurch-Culverden, 3.0 pjn. Culverden-Christchurch, and 5.15 p.m. Christchurch-Rangiora trains will run. Usual 7.40 a.m. Rangiora-Christchurch train will leave Rangiora 8.47 a.m. It will not connect at Christchurch with the express train for Invercargill or the relief express train for Dunedin. . . SOUTH LlNE.—Usual up and down mail express trains between Christchurch-Dunedin and Invercargill will-run. Relief express train will leave Christchurch for Dunedin at 9.10 a.m. and Dunedin for Christchurch 9.5 ajn. Night train (from Dunedin 14th) will leave Ashburton 5.27 a.m. 15th for Christchurch.. CHRISTCHURCH-OTERA-GREYMOUTH.—UsuaI 9.45 a.m. Christchurch-Greymouth and 10.35 a.m. Greymouth-Christchurch mail trains urill run. Special excursion trains will leave Christchurch for Otira at 8.0 a.m. and 8.10 a.m. CHRISTCHURCH-LITTLE RlVEß.—Electric rail car (stopping where required for passengers), will leave Christchurch for Little River at 8.5 a.m. and 4.0 p.m., and Little River for Christchurch at.9.15 a.m. and 5.25 p.m. Pilkington's service cars to and from Akaroa will connect at Little River with these services. SATURDAY, APRIL 16. NORTH LlNE.—Usual 12.10 p.m. Belfast-Christchurch train will NOT run. Usual 7.10 a.m. Waikari-Christchurch train will run from Hawarden leaving there 6.55 a.m. Usual 5.15 p.m. Christchurch-Waikari train will leave Christchurch 5.35 p.m., Addington 5.41, Papanui 5.58, Kaiapoi 6.28, Rangiora 6.56, and will run to Hawarden. EYRETON BRANCH.—UsuaI 6.13 p.m. train for Bennetts will leave Kaiapoi 6.34 p.m. OXFORD BRANCH.—UsuaI 3.30 p.m. train for Rangiora will be accelerated and will leave Oxford West 4.0 p.m., Oxford East 4.5, Cust 4.30, and arrive Rangiora 5.3 p.m. connecting with train for Christchurch. Usual 6.48 p.m. train for Oxford West will leave Rangiora 7.5 p.m. SOUTHBRIDGE BRANCH.—UsuaI 4.50 p.m. train for Southbridge will leave Christchurch 6.0 pjn. LITTLE RIVER BRANCH.—UsuaI 8.5 a.m. and 2,0 p.m. Christ-church-Little River and 9.15 a.m. and 3.10 p.m. Little River-Christ-church electric car will run. Special train will leave Christchurch for Little River 5.50 p.m. JX will stop at stations Addington to Lincoln inclusive to pick up passengers for Little River Branch. After leaving Lincoln, it will stop where required to pick up and set down passengers. Pilkington's service cars to and from Akaroa will connect - at Little River with the electric car service and the special' train; MIDLAND LINE AND WHITECLIFFS .
