BUS DIVES OVER BANK.

DRIVER ESCAPES INJURY. [THE PRESS Special Service.] AUCKLAND, April 4. On Saturday a large bus belonging to tJie Kopuru Motor Bus Company, one of four buses which had been conveying cadets to entrain at Paparoa for camp at Narrow Neck, was returning to Northern Wairoa, driven by Bert Wordsworth, when the steering gear go out of order at Parirau bridge, Matakohe. The bus dived oyer an embankment, landing on its side. The driver was alone in the bus at the time, and was travelling at only 17 miles an hour. He escaped without injury. Heavy work will be involved in hauling the bus back on to the road.
