FARMERS SEEK ABOLITION. (PBESS ASSOCIATION TBLEGBAM.) HAMILTON, March 10. The Raglan County Council _ yesterday carried a resolution asking the Government either to abolish the Arbitration Court or exempt farmers from the terms of its awards. TIMARU CRITICISM. At a meeting of the South Canterbury Employers' Association eexputiiyp, iagt night, the following motions were passed:—"That in the opinion of the Association some improvement is necessary in the working of the Arbitration Court as its recent aecisipns are pipping a burden on the primary and secondary industries of the Dominion which cannot be borne without serious loss, and that the Government's' attention be drawn to the matter." "This meeting views with apprehension the recent pronouncements of the president of the Arbitration Court and is quite in acoprd with the repent criticisms levelled at the Court."
