ENGLISH PARK STADIUM.

TUESDAY NIGHT'S SPORTS. On Tuesday night a sports meeting -will be held at English Park Stadium. The meeting is under the auspices of the North Can* terbury Centre of the N.Z. Athletic and Cycling Association, and the proceeds will be devoted to the injured riders' fund. The following programme has been drawn up:—Half-mile New Zealand cycling championship, half-mile open hnadicap, one-mile North Canterbury wheel race, quarter-mile amateur handicap; also 220 yds and 880 yds Canterbury championships. A sprint match race has been arranged between Phil O'Shea and N. H. Godmaru The race will be over three distances. The entries for all events close with the secretary, Sfr P. 0, Lucas, to-morrow night.
