The Linwood Club wrote asking tho club s support of .their notice of motion to the Canterbury Rugby' Union, "that the constitution of- 'all old boys' - clubs be confined only to members who attended the day school of the respective Associations." 1 The letter'pointed' out that 'some old boys clubs were allowed to play members from other districts, and that if a definite stand was not taken immediately there was a possibility that within a few years open clubs would be unable to obtain players. It was decided that the club's delegates to the Canterbury Rugby Union bo instructed to support the Linwood Club's proposal. It was decided-that the club enter a team in the Senior B Grade..

Greenlees, was accorded a—vote-. of thanks for his energy in training the players of hia side. . . It waa decided .that all players unfinancial after the third Saturday of the competitiona be debarred- from playing until their flubBcriptiona were paid. It. was resolved to open the season on Saturday, Match 26th. On this date ft senior team will travel to Hokitika to play » 'West Coast thirteen.
