WAIMAIRI SCHOOL.
The monthly meeting of the Waimairi School Committee was held on Monday, when there were present: Messrs R. G. Morrison (chairman). Moor. Radford, Roberts. W. Tullett. and E. Tullctt. Tho sum of XI 10s was received from the Canterbury Cricktt Association to be expended in cricket material for school use. The secretary was instructed to thank the C.O.A. Several matters regarding the Education Board were discussed. It was decided to hold a mceti«s within the next few days to difi-uss the laying down of an assembly ground at the school. T"-< ipidmaster reported that the roll nui"*jTV iiad increased considerably boili m new yupils a nd in pupils from other schools. The headmaster reported very favourably on the model school. He produced for inspection an aeroplane made by one of the boys on his owa initiative. The committee were surprised at the care and industry displayed, and expressed their delight that the pupils showed such aptitude. Accounts amounting to £9 10s lod «crc passed for payment.-
