In the House of Commons, Mr Amery, replying to a question by Viscount Landon on the desirability of developing a system of personal contact between London and the Dominions, said this had been affirmed at the Imperial Conference, but it was a matter for discussion with the Governments concerned. To some extent negotiations had been in progress.
