ELDERLY MAN'S DEATH.
BODY FOUND AT TBMUKA. The body of Robert Ewing Naismith, a wood and coal merchant of Temuka, was found by Constable Southworth yesterday afternoon in his car *hed at Ewen road with a single barrelled shot-gun lying alongside. Naismith, who was about 60 years of age, was last seen alive on Sunday, but did not turn up for his meals at the boarding-houso either on Monday or yesterday, and a search was made for him by the constable. A piece of string was atta«;lii:d to the trigger of the gun and his head was shattered with a gunshot wound.
