The Sumner Borough Council idviae (hat an additional 10 per cent, will be added to ill rule? unpaid at the expiration ol aix months and fourteen days from Soptombor 20th, 1926, the date of demand. Tho Anama Itoad Board will alto charge 10 per cont. on all rate* outstanding on March Ist, 1927. A garden party will be held at tho residence of Mr D. Jones, M.P., to-day by the Methodist Women's Missionary Auxiliary, in aid of mission funds. A meeting of those interested in (ho letting out of Lake Ellesmere will be held in the Ellrsraete A. and P. Rooms, Leeston, on Friday night.
