PROPOSED CORPORATIVE STATE. MUSSOLINI'S REVOLUTIONARY PROJECT. (BT CABLE— FBESS ASBOCtATIOS— COPTBIOHT.) ("THX TTAIEB.") LONDON, February 13. Commenting on Signor Mussolini's project of a corporative State to which the interests of all classes are subordinated in order to secure the maximum productivity, "The Tunes," in a leader says: "The conception of tho partial formation by a first-rate European Government of a project S3 immense, subversive of the only organisation life has known, modern civilisation, will startle even a generation which witnessed the rise ot the Soviets. Alarm and discontent prevail among the industrial and financial classes, who most strongly supported Signor Mussolini. Ho knows this. There are complaints that the Fascist heads of trades unions are more arrogant and dictatorial than tho Socialist chiefs of the old trades unions. People wonder what the Duce will do if he sees distrust in his rule increasing The most usual surmise seems that he will turn to the Left. All feel that the future is an enigma. None have much confidence. A corporative Stato is a tremendous adventure fraught with huge peril. There are vague hopes that the Duce is strong enough to transform or renounce it if he sees its certain dangers outweigh its advantages."
