STEAMER ADRIFT.
ENGINES STILL GOING. FOG CAUSES MANY SHIPPING MISHAPS. (at cabls—run associatiob—corraioar.) (AUgTBALUI ABB BT.j CABLI ASSOCIATION) LONDON, February 13. The whole of England south of the Midlands is enveloped in a fog which has never completely lifted since Friday. There havo been numerous collisions of small vessels in the Channel. During tho week-end many steamers were damaged, but there has been no loss of life. The City of Tokio grounded off Margate on Saturday, and was refloated to-night. The Spanish Bteamer fii.cdejucla collided with the Norwegian steamer Baa on Saturday morning. Tho Spaniards rescued the Raa's crow, but the latter, expecting Uio Baa every moment to founder when they took to tho boats, did not stop the engines. The result is that the Ban, SIC tons, id still racing aimlessly about with tho engines going. Fearing that tho Baa would ram other ships, Dover 9ent out tugs in pursuit, but these were forced to put back because of the density of the fog.
