Nearly forty years ago. says Uic Auckland "Star,'"' a young New Zea lander, who Lad gone to' Scotland for his education, found that one of his class mates, had, like himself, been born on January 25th. The pair decided to spend their twentieth birthday visiting Burns' cottage at Ayr. for that date was also the anniversary of the birth of the poet. After their schooling days were done, the two vouog men separated, and for rears their lives were divided.
