The recent rain has only slightly improved the situation, and much more is necessary before the drought is broken. Residents returning from bol'daj's in the coastal districts found they had gone from one extreme to the other. On the coast the holidays were spout by excessive rain, while they returned to find bare paddocks, empty tanks, and sheep being artificially fed.
