(FROM OUB, OWN CORRESPOKDEKT.) • LONDON, December 15 • When two years ago it was decidua to continue holding the New Zealand annual dinners in London, a eeJfconstituted committee was set up. The committee did well on. the 1 last two occasions, but it was thought that al' New Zealanders in England should have an opportunity /of setting the annual dinner organisation on a proper footing and of electing their own oliicials. A meeting was, therefore, held a few days ago for this purpose. Sir Thomas Parkinson was in the chair. It was stated' that the balance in hand amounted to £l7 15s lid. The rules which had been drawn up by the existing committee at a previous' meeting were adopted, arid then the while of the committee retired. Sir Thomas Parkinson intimated that owing to ill-health he would be unable to continue as chairman.' Mr L." E. L. Donne mentioned that' Sir Thomas had been connected with the organisation before the war,'and' as chairmanduring the past two years he h:ic! thrown himself heart and soul'into the movement. Sir James Parr was elected - president; Sir James Mills and Sir Thomas : Parkinson were elected vice-presidents: Mr L. E. L. Donne, honorary, secre- . tary; Mr C. J. Wray, honorary treasurer ; and Mr T. B. Ching, honorary auditor. The following were elected' in the committee: Dr. J. Macriaughfcnn Christie, C.8.E., Mr C; J. Cowan, Mr Alexander Crabb- Mr H. T. B. Drciw.Mr R. S. Forsyth,' Lieut.-Colonel N. FitzHerbert, T/.M.Gf., C.8.E.; Lieut. Col. B. Frevberg, V.C.. C.M.G. D.5.0., Mr J. C. Hanna, Mr S. Jacobs, Mr W. L. James, Sir Thomas Mackenzie, •G.C.M:G., Mr J." Macmillan. Mr Alsx.i rider M. Michie. the Hon. V Pemner' ■Reeves, Mr F.' T. Sandford. Mr Unl. Williams. Mr W. PI. Young. Mi- W. F. Will is. Mr Stronaeh Patersori, and Mr R. Mill. Sir James Parr and Messrs Don no. Ching, Hanna. Williams, and Forsyth were elected an Executive Committee. It was decided, to invite the Princ« v of Wales . to the . next dinner, which. will be held between. June 10th and 17th.
