NORTH BEACH NOTES.

Life Saving. A number of the younger members of the North Beach Surf Club were examined for the Surf Medallion Award of the Boyal Life Saving Society, Mr Claud Cooper being the examiner. The following were successful in gaining the award:-*. Hill, W. Brough, J. Breward, R. Dawson, J. L. Scott, jun. The acting members of the Club are now busy training for the Keeteven Cup competition, to be held on February Cth. ■ ' ■ Personal. Miss Molly Norrie, Miss Betty Scott, and Master J. Henry, all of North Beach, were successful in passing this year's Matriculation Examination. Miss Phyllis Judkins completed her Pfi SSs Gabb, of Bowhill road, has been appointed to the staff of the Main Brighton School. Mr A. L. B. Noonan, whose parents reside in Tonks street, hab completed his B.A. Degree.
