FIRE AT TE AWAMUTU.
OCCUPANTS' NARROW ESCAPE. (PBESS ABSOCIATIOX TILEGBAH.) TE AWAMUTU, January 27. Fira at one o'clock yesterday morning completely destroyed the homestead of Mr Thomas Ferguson, a farmer of Te Mawhai. The fcccupants escaped with only their night attire. Insurances on the house are £7OO, and on the furniture and piano £3OO.
