FIRES. TWO CALLS RECEIVED. The City lire Brigade received two calls yesterday. The first summons was at 10.30 a.m. to a three-roomed house situated at 07 Phillip street, Linwood. The- house, which was owned by Mr C. Iggo and occupied by Mr William Wood, was only slightly damaged, the kitchen \vu)i being burnt. J At 1-.15 p.m. the brigade was called to No. 31 Si in con street. Spreydon. The house, a l'our-roouied dwelling, was owned and occupied by Mr Joseph L. Cox. A detached wood shed was slightly damaged ly lire,.but.the brigade'prevented further damage.
