WOOLSTON FETE.
A largely attended and enthusiastic meeting of the Woolston Fete Committee was held on Monday evening. Bro. Clarke, Arch-Druid of the Anchor Lodge of Druids, occupied the chair. Good reports were received from the various stallholders. Bro.H. Eaßtwick, sen., and Bro. J. Fisher were given charge of the baby ehow. Mrs Knighton submitted the schedule for the cooking competitions. Bro. John Ealham; was welcomed to the meeting, and gave an interesting address, based on the suceeßS of a kindred gathering held at Spreydon. Bro. A E T Williams reported that the booKs of' tickets were selling welj. The secretary reported that entries were being received for the tug-of-war contest between the various Druid Lodges, the Woolston Tannery team being the managers of this event. axo: Pease reported the offer of a live aheep for a, euessing competition, also a model of a Doax for the children's fancy dresß carnival.
