FOR WELLINGTON 200.
(PMSS ASSOCUHOK TSLBOiiIC) x i7. There was landed on Saturday from * the Sussex a young elephant and a tigress for the. Wellington Zoo. The elephant, which will be known as "Nellie," appears to be quiet and docile and obeys the commands oi Iter keeper, Sheia ArjnHla, readily.,' The tigress, on the other hand, it a veritable shrew. On the voyage out she was in charge of the ship's batcher, who did his best for her. She responded by taking a few slices out *f his hand when he fed her yesterday. She refused to gratify public curiosity by remaining out of view all day.
