TRAMWAY EXCURSIONS.

TO THE EDITOR Or THE KIESS. Sir.—l liave been juueh disappointed tiiis Christmas on account of the seaside excursions. I was hoping that they would include the suburbs, but on taking my children one day to the beach I found that there was onlv a reduction from the City. Now sir, I think at any time the" fare from tho City is most reasonable, but when one has to tako tram and bus before reaching home, it becomes an expensive outing lor a family. If only tho Tramway Hoard would make it sav, a Is return to any terminus with a corresponding reduction jn children's fare, then the people who most seldom can have a fclimpso of the sea would be able to a tew days' rare treat. As it is" 3 I consider we spend more on the trams than City folk, and get the least consideration. At all events under existing conditions, I'm afraid it i s not !,?nJ IS + i ° nj ' oy an outin e that costs more than parents can afford.—Yours, MOTHER.
