StiUman, of: the Commonwealth Immigration Department, stated tlia't: in future free passages will be offered to migrating domestic servants. This is being done so that Australia will not be placed at a.disadvantage compared.witn New Zealand. Previously domestic servants paid £ll, the remainder of the fare being borne equally by the Commonwealth and the British Governments. These Governments will now hear the whole cost.
