FEDERAL LINE SAILINGS. The Federal S.N. Company announces the following projected sailings from Liverpool to New Zealand ports:— \ Opswb, July 3rd, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin. Cumberland, July 31st, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Bluff. Huntingdon, August 28th, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers. Turakina, September 11th, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymouth.

Cambridge, September 25th, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers.

It will be noted from the above that the Turakina and Cumberland will afford opportunity for direct shipment to New Plymouth aqd Bluff respectively.

MARAROA'S SMART PASSAGES. The ferry steamer Mararoa has been making smart passages during the last few days. She arrived at Lyttelton on Sunday under 12 hours, wharf to wharf. On Tuesday morning she arrived at Wellington from Lyttelton in 11 hours 7 minutes, wharf to wharf. Yesterday morning the Mararoa arrived at the Moles at Lyttelton at 7.30 a.m., having occupied 11 hours 40 minutes on the trip.
