CRYSTAL PALACE.
Percy Marmont will be long-remembered for his magnificent characterisation of Mark Sabre in "If Winter Comes." Such a player cannot be provided with a suitable part very often, but in "Tho Street of Forgotten Men" he has a role that is eminently suitable for his restrained and dramatio powerß. "Easy Money Charley" by day a beggar-in the New York streets, and Charlie Vanhern by night, one of the gentlemen of tho aristocracy of the Democratic States, Marmont has an intensely poignant part to play, as ward of a beautiful young girl. "The Best People," the other featured picture, is an amusing and clever romedy of a really unusual variety. The Crystal Palace Orchestra is heard in some excellent numbers.
